Fair use for Spaceship Zero
[edit]This image, Spaceship zero art.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Dogbreathcanada) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it is a low resolution copy of an album cover and book cover;
- it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the CD album or roleplaying manual in any way;
- copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another CD or book;
- the artist is well-known in the advertising world.
The image is copyright 2002 by Chris Woods. The image appears on both the roleplaying game manual published by Green Ronin Publishing, as well as the music CD cover published by Divine Industries.
