Summary

Description
English: A map of Southern Florida based on Landsat data. In the false-color overlay, green (0.525 - 0.600 micrometers) is mapped to the color blue, the near-infrared (0.845 - 0.885 micrometers) is mapped to green, and the short-wave infrared (2.100 - 2.300 micrometers) is mapped to red. This mapping highlights the correlation between healthy vegetation and the reflectance of near-infrared light. This data was collected by Landsat 5 on November 10, 2011. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center created this image.
