Summary

Description
English: "The corner of Town and South High Street is now the site of the Lazarus store. The Busy Bee Restaurant, 129 S. High Street, and on its right was the Golden Eagle Pawn Shop. Next is the Edward G. Horn Saloon. The smokestacks to the left were the electric plant for the Lazarus Department Store." Presumed to have been the northwest corner of Town and High, also seen here as the future home of the Lazarus Co.. Photo taken 1898-1908. Reportedly this was formerly the United States Hotel.
