Summary

Description
English: Souter lighthouse: equipment installed in the engine room in the early 1950s. On the left, a Reavell compressor set which compressed air for the foghorn; on the right, a Hurricane generator set which would provide electricity to the lighthouse in the event of a mains failure. Both are powered by Petter diesel engines.
