Description
English: Sordaria fimicola perithecium magnified 40X. This perithecium is a mutant (tan) fungus, which is why the asci contain light-colored ascospores. Identified using Hanlin, R. T. (2001) Illustrated Genera of Ascomycetes, Volume 1. APS Press: St. Paul, MN; pp. 132–3 ISBN 0-89054-107-8.
