Illustrates how the filmmaker was able, even in the mid-1970s, to find and film open, public billboard supportive of the Ku Klux Klan. Adding this shot to his film gave an air of authenticity to his storyline, which involved the Klan's ability to operate openly in the town in which the film was set. |
