Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) This will serve as a visual aid for people to associate the new alternate logo with the team.
Not replaceable with
free media because
(WP:NFCC#1)
The Slammers organization owns the rights to the logo. A reproduction would violate copyright laws while this image is like when a person takes a picture of a player wearing the logo on the ice. The logo is shown, although they did not pay for it, but they can spread the pictures all over the internet.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) It will be used in only one space in the entire article and on no other pages on Wikipedia. Also, it is a low resolution image and would be very poor quality if copied.
Respect for
commercial opportunities
(WP:NFCC#2)
The logo is low resolution and poor quality for reproduction, therefore the company will not lose money from merchandise because of this logo. Furthermore, the logo and the page give free advertising for the Slammers organization and this only aids in their commercial opportunities.
