English: Images related to the northern Skyway Fishing Pier State Park south of the northern rest area along Interstate 275 and U.S. Route 19 on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge south of St. Petersburg, Florida at the vicinity of the Pinellas-Hillsborough County Line. The Skyway Fishing Pier State Park was made from the original portions of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge until it was crashed into like the MV Summit Venture on May 9, 1980. This view is of the former northbound bridge, which was integrated into the eastern pier, until that was closed in 2008 due to deterioration. |
