Description
English: Slingsby Skylark Model T50 - commonly known as 'The Skylark IV'. Manufactured in 1962, Skylark IV BLA (Bravo Lima Alpha) was first owned by Professor Frank Irving - aeronautical engineer from Imperial College London. This Skylark is currently resident at Borders Gliding Club, Northumberland, UK. Wingspan is 18.2 metres.

Skylark IVs have achieved heights in excess of 30,000 ft and flights of over 300 miles.
