I've taken earlier photos of Ann Carrington's horse sculpture in Chestnuts Park. This time, with beautiful weather and plenty of time, I walked around it, into the mud and bushes and tried shots from different angles.

§ "The Skeleton Horse of Tottenham. Chestnuts Park, St Ann's Road, Tottenham, London, N15. Installed 2005 A five-metre high wooden sculpture designed and built by artist Ann Carrington, artists from Artscope, students from King Alfred School, Hampstead, pupils from Woodlands School, Haringey, and local residents. The artwork was inspired by local history, especially the tale of 'The Skeleton Horse of High Cross', an actual skeleton horse that once stood nearby." (From Haringey Council website.) When I first glanced at this photo I smiled. Then humour drained away as I thought about the combined power of those two steel blades. Or are they claws?
