DescriptionSite of Ramsey (North) railway station - geograph.org.uk - 748698.jpg
English: Site of Ramsey (North) railway station The piece of wasteground seen here is the site of the former Ramsey (North) railway station. This was the terminus of the Great Northern branch line that linked Ramsey with Holme, a former junction station on what is now the East Coast Main Line. The line opened in 1863, lost its passenger service in 1947 and was closed completely in 1970. Ramsey was also served by a second branch line which terminated at Ramsey (East) station elsewhere in the town.
