English: Site of RAF Bridgnorth Now the Stanmore Country Park. The RAF training camp was established in 1939 on the high ground above Bridgnorth. The camp finally closed in 1963. Recruits were marched up to the camp from the railway station. All that remains of the camp is a memorial on a chimney stack.
