Summary

Description On the right is the London to Bristol mainline and on the left a railhead currently used to transport containers of refuse out of Bath. This was once the site of Westmoreland Street station the first terminus of the Great Western Railway in Bath. An overhead gantry is visible with some containers below, and high on the left some of the large victorian villas of Lower Oldfield Park can be seen above the cliff where the station area has been cut into the hill.
