Sheriff of Norwich 1693. Possibly some relationof Bishop Joseph Hall. HAMOND, Ro. (A3). The family was decidedly Royalist. Capt.Hamond, of Ellingham, a Royalist, was prisoner in 1655, andJohn Hamond, a Royalist Compounder. A John Hamond wasMayor of Lynn in 1673. HARDY, Leonard (Hl).j Probably related to Richd. Hardy, who was a,, Jeremy (C2). J Royalist Compounder.♦HARE, Ra. (A3). Sir Ralph Hare, of Stow Bardolf, was created baronetin 1641; High Sheriff in 1650, M.P. for Norfolk 1654, 1656, and1661, and for Lynn 1660. Was one of the excluded, or non-approved, members of Parliament of 1656, and died 1671. He married Vere, the sister of Horatio D. Townshend, oneof the promoters of the Address.
