Summary

Description U.S. Navy Grumman TBF-1 Avenger aircraft of Torpedo Squadron VT-5 from the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CV-10) fly over the site where squadron aircraft scored four direct hits on the Japanese destroyer Wakatake, sinking her in fifteen seconds 110 km north of Palau.
