Summary

Description
English: A single-phase generator with four poles. A rectangular loop armature, in a 90-degree angle, cuts the lines of force producing electrical current. The current is sent out through two slip rings and brushes. As the armature rotates one revolution, it generates two cycles of single phase alternating current (AC).
