Summary

Description
English: Site of Silverton Park mansion house, built 1839, demolished 1901, now overgrown with trees (centry). Viewed from south-east. At far left (west) is the surviving red-brick stable block; at far right is a modern thatched cottage-ornee named "Combe Satchfield", after the original name of the house and estate on which Silverton Park was built. The holly tree at the SE angle of the site (with top branches denuded of leaf) is the same tree as appears in several of the last photographs taken of the mansion
