English: Sílið is a Faroese wooden rowing boat, which belongs to the rowing club Havnar Róðrarfelag from Tórshavn. Sílið is a 5-mannafar, it is the boat which has won the Faroese Championship (FM) most times, the boys won FM 8 times and the women won it 12 times (the statistics go back to 1973). This photo was taken just after the Jóansøka boat race in Tvøroyri in June 2011.
Føroyskt: Sílið er 5-mannafar hjá Havnar Róðrarfelag. Sílið er tað 5-mannafarið sum hevur vunnið flest FM heitið, bæði tá talan er um dreingjaróðurin og 5-mannafør kvinnur. Dreingirnir á Sílinum hava vunnið FM 8 ferðir og kvinnurnar hava vunnið FM 12 ferðir. (Hagtøl frá 1973-2011). Myndin varð tikin beint eftir kappróðurin á jóansøku 2011 á Tvøroyri.
