English: Sierra Madre Town Hall 1895 (with Cigar Factory next door), viewed northeast from Baldwin and Central Ave (now called Sierra Madre Blvd). Town Hall is constructed in 1887. It houses the original US post office, the town’s first grocery store, and Emile Deutsch’s cigar factory, and also serves as a meeting place religious groups. In 1937 this Town Hall building is demolished to be replaced by an oil station. As on January 20, 1928 new Town Hall is built on Sierra Madre Blvd (1928 building is now the jail house inn).
