This is now the Magistrates Court and offices, and was formerly the Assize and County Court. It was built in 1776-8, with additions of 1814 and 1879, and late 20C alterations On the right the stub of the former enclosure wall can be seen, and behind this is a 19C extension. There was a prison at the rear.
