The Autistic community and the International Coalition Against Restraint and Seclusion organized a #ShineOnMax campaign for people to light candles in the boy's memory on Sunday, November 17, 2019. "He was the funniest, most energetic person I know. He made everything so fun. It’s like my whole family is missing its sun now," Max's mother told The Aspergian.
