Description
English: Shimer College basketball coach Les Shepard wears a hat announcing his team's 37th straight loss. Later in the year, Shimer achieved the longest losing streak in NCAA basketball history up to that point. The losing streak is a long-standing point of pride at the school, although Shimer has since ceased to engage in intercollegiate sports and other schools have surpassed Shimer's losing record.
