English: The General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument located at 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Sherman Plaza, Washington, D.C. The equestrian monument honoring the American Civil War General was designed by Carl Rohl-Smith in 1903. It's a contributing property to the Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site and the Civil War Memorials in Washington, D.C. listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
