English: Shepperton: parish church of St. Nicholas. The parish church of Shepperton stands some distance from what would now be considered the village centre this is Old Shepperton, about ½ mile southwest from the main shopping area and railway station. It may be that the arrival of the railway drew the main business of the village nearer to the terminus.
