English: Sheffield Supertram interior (original design). This photo shows how the interior of all 24 trams looked in the earlier years. From 2006 onwards, all of them were given a mid-life refurbishment by Stagecoach, the operators of the system. This included new upholstery in a different shade, and repainting the grab handles etc. in a more visible colour. The photograph was taken when the vehicle was waiting at Meadowhall Interchange terminus. Externally the trams were originally in this livery:- 1705079.
This is how the interior of the trams looked, after the makeover:- 1267909.
