Description

1/5 Battalion, London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade)

Sgt Needell enlisted in April 1909. He was killed in action, aged 28, at Wancourt on 2 May 1917. Sgt Needell is buried at Hibers Trench Cemetery. Photograph presented by his wife, Mrs Needell of Teddington.
