Summary
[edit]this is an image of the sequoyah plaque at the Southwest Museum in Los Angeles around late 2004. I cannot attest to its presence today (2010) because major renovations were undertaken on the museum recently. Notice his fingers are cut off at their joints in the statue. According to the plaque in a similar picture, this was because he was accused of, and punished for witchcraft, The factual accuracy of his fingers being cut off has not been determined yet, as this image is simply provided to show the claim and to stimulate further research into the factual accuracy.
