Description
English: Alabaster vase inscribed with the name of Semerkhet, penultimate pharaoh of the first dynasty of Egypt, c. 2920 BC. The inscription reads King Iry-Nebty visits the palace-of-the-pleased-king, oil jars for it, National Archaeological Museum, St Germain en Laye.
