This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739

Summary

Description

Traveler's Hotel Building (also known as Post Mews, Elgin Hotel), 611 Post Avenue (corner of Yesler Way), Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, USA. Seen here from the west, along Yesler Way.

Built 1913. Best known in recent decades for restaurant and bar Trattoria Mitchelli. Upstairs are condominiums. Jones & Jones, Architects, Landscape Architects, who did the remodel in the late 1970s claim that it was the first mixed-use condominium in Seattle.
