Summary

This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739
Description Seattle's Smith Tower under construction, 1913. Other prominent buildings in the picture are the Frye Hotel (now Frye Apartments) at left, the triangular Seattle Hotel (demolished in the 1960s) just left of the Smith Tower and the Morrison Hotel just right of the Smith Tower.
