English: Letters sealed with sealing wax. The sealing wax bar is first heated above a flame while rotating it until enough of it is soft enough that it can be wiped off on the paper and sealed.
The picture is a stack of 14 single images taken with a Nikon D7200, a Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 at f/9 and 1/100 s, with 3 flashes: one for the general lighting, another one for the reflection on the red seal, and a third one for the reflection on the sealing stamp. The pictures have been stacked with Zerene Stacker.
Deutsch: Briefe, versiegelt mit Siegeln aus Siegellack. Das Siegellack wird erst über einer Flamme unter ständigem Drehen erhitzt, bis genug davon so weich ist, dass es auf dem Papier abgestrichen werden kann. Dann wird mit dem Petschaft das Siegel eingedrückt.
Das Bild ist ein Stack aus 14 Bildern, aufgenommen mit einer Nikon D7200, einem Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 bei f/9 und 1/100 s, mit drei SB-900-Blitzen: Einer für die allgemeine Beleuchtung, indirekt von oben links; einer für die Reflektion auf dem Siegel, indirekt von vorne, und einer für die Reflektion auf dem Petschaft, indirekt von links. Die Bilder wurden mit Zerene Stacker zusammengefügt. |
