Description
English: The seal of Hampshire County, Massachusetts, originally adopted in 1692 as the seal of the probate court and later used by the now-defunct county government. The version seen here is based on its original counterpart (#16). The seal reads Sig[illum] Com[itatus] Hamp[toniœ], De Prob[atione] Testam[entorum] or literally "the Seal of the County of Hampshire, the Proof of Testament."
