Summary

Description A view of the deck of Royal Navy aircraft carrier and maintenance ship HMS Unicorn (I72) dressed with flags to mark the 13th anniversary of the King George VI's Coronation. HMS Unicorn and HMAS Shoalhaven (K535), also in harbour, fired a simultaneous salute of 21 guns. On deck is a Supermarine Seafire Mk 47. This type was used operationally in Korea by 800 Squadron, RN, flying from the carrier HMS Triumph (R16) during 1950.
