Українська: Скіфська кам’яна скульптура VI- VII ст. до н.е. з рожевого граніту, знайдена чи біля кургану Лита Могила чи біля Мельгуновського кургану (тепер – біля с. Кучерівки Знам’янського району Кіровоградської області) тодішнім генерал-губернатором Новоросійської губернії Олексієм Петровичем Мельгуновим (1722-1788) у 1763 році. О.П.Мельгунов першим почав поводити археологічні розкопки у придніпровських регіонах, переважно усі золоті та срібні знахідок з цих розкопок на українській території зберігається нині у Ермітажі в Росії. Ця статуя входить в унікальну колекцію скіфської кам’яної скульптури Кіровоградського обласного краєзнавчого музею – збірка шести статуй VI – IV століть до н.е. робить її чи не найбільшою в Україні. English: Scythian stone sculpture VI- VII century B.C. made from pink granite, revealed either near Lyta Mohyla kurgan or near Mel’gunov kurgan (now- Kucherivka village in Kirovograd region in Ukraine) in year of 1763 by Oleksiy Petrovich Mel’gunov (1722-1788), the governor-general of Novorossiya province of Russian empire in that time. O.P.Mel’gunov was the first who started archeological excavations near Dnieper so all the golden and silver treasures found by him during the years of these archeological studies at current Ukrainian territory are stored now in the Hermitage Museum in Russia. The statue belongs to unique collection of Scythian stone sculpture of Kirovograd regional museum of local history; the collection includes 6 statues of VI – IV century B.C. that characterizes it as the one of the largest in Ukraine considering the age of sculptures |
