English: Dehisced seed pods of a Weeping boer-bean. The valves have opened, revealing rows of pale brown seeds still attached to their placentas. Each seed has a yellow, basal, cup-shaped aril, which is initially fairly hard. The seeds themselves are said to be edible when roasted.
