Mujeres mapuche; de izquierda a derecha: sosteniendo una calabaza/jarra y una planta o rama; moliendo maíz, desmadejando con un huso. Litografía coloreada de George Johann Scharf en una página plegada con otros grabados, según diversos bocetos (no se especifica quiénes son los autores de esos bocetos); impresa por Rowney & Forster y publicada por Peter Schmidtmeyer en su libro Travels into Chile, over the Andes, in the years 1820 and 1821, London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, Brown and Green, 1824.
