Deutsch: Der Schmetterlingsporling (Coriolus versicolor) wächst nur auf Totholz (Eiche, Birke). Sein Geschmack ist ungenießbar. In China und Japan finden aus dem Pilz hergestellte Extrakte in zahlreichen Medikamenten Anwendung - auch gegen Krebs.
