Summary

Description
English: Schematic structures of dysferlin, myoferlin, and otoferlin, three ferlin proteins that are associated with human diseases. Lack of functional dysferlin can cause a group of muscular dystrophies knows as dysferlinopathies. Myoferlin is highly expressed in several types of cancer, and mutations in otoferlin can cause deafness.
