DescriptionSansepolcro - stazione ferroviaria - ALn 776.jpg
English: After a night in this rather plesant town in the Tuscany region of Italy I made my way to the terminus station at Sansepolcro. Formerly Ferrovia Centrale Umbra (FCU), in 2010 the rail operator merged with the regional bus operator to become Umbria Mobilità (UM).
The original network of FCU extended from Terni via Perugia (both with connections to the Trenitalia system) to here, Sansepolcro. However, in recent years, the regional operation has taken over more routes from Trenitalia. Despite the entire FCU route being electrified in 2000, most services are still worked by Fiat built DMUs similar to ones seen on the Trenitalia network. 4 3-car EMUs were delivered in 2008, however these in no way are enough to cover the full service.
Taken during sunrise on the morning of 26 February 2015, to the left are DMUs ALn 776.004 with ALn 776.005 behind. Train R 213, 07:06 Sansepolcro to Perugia Sant'Anna.
