Fair Use for 1980 Liberian coup d'état
[edit]Though the picture is originally copyright, I User: The Emperor of Byzantium believe it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because: 1. It is a copy of a photograph released by the Associated Press for dissemination in accompaniment of a news story; 2. It is a photo of monumental event in the history of Liberian State; 3. No free or public domain images have been located for this purpose; and 4. Reproduction of the image is not believed to limit the copyright owners' rights in any way. The photograph has not been manually or digitally altered in any way, and subsequent scaling to thumbnail size to follow non-free content policies.
