Remake of Prabhat's original 'Keechak Vadhan' (1928). First Indian film in colour. A costume spectacular, it was made in India and later sent to the UFA Studio in Germany for colour processing. Dir: V Shantaram. Studio: Prabhat Film Company. IMDB entry One of 21 most wanted missing Indian cinema treasures identified by National Film Archive of India founder P K. Nair.
