Summary

Description
English: The St Vrain Mill was built in 1864 by Ceran St Vrain, a prominent trader, Santa Fe Trail wagon master, and entrepreneur. It was a large three story stone structure on the banks of the Mora River in Mora, New Mexico. It was one of several mills in the Mora Valley that provided flour and ground grain to nearby Fort Union and operated as a mill until 1922. Its milling machinery was eventually sold off and it saw occasion use as a warehouse, but for the last 75 years or so, it sat neglected and gradually fell into disrepair. But even so, it is still one of the most impressive structures in Mora today.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 73001143.
