Summary

Description
English: The Visgoth saint, Saint Millan, playing a citole from a medieval miniature in the "Tablas de San Millán", from the mid to late 14th Century. Shows a holly leaf citole. He was also known as San Millán in Spanish, Emilianus or Aemilianus in Latin. Information from where the miniature comes from is the in the book "The British Museum Citole: New Perspectives", edited by James Robinson, Naomi Speakman and Kathryn Buehler-McWilliams, chapter 2, page 20.
