Summary

Description
English: 19th century painting of Khuree (circle, compound, monastery, camp) of Sain Noyon Khan in Ovorkhangai Province, central Mongolia. Mineral pigments on cotton. This Khuree was completely destroyed by the Stalinists in 1937. It had a mixture of Mongolian, Chinese and Tibetan architecture.
