മലയാളം: കേരള കലാമണ്ഡലം ചെറുതുരുത്തി അടുത്തിടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടം പെൺകുട്ടികൾ കഥകളി പഠിക്കാൻ ചേർന്ന ഒരു ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ നിമിഷത്തിന് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിച്ചു. കല ജാതി മത വേലിക്കെട്ടുകൾക്ക് അതീതമാണ് എന്ന ശക്തമായ സന്ദേശം നൽകിയ തട്ടമിട്ട സാബ്രി എന്ന പെൺകുട്ടിയും അക്കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മുസ്ലീം സമുദായത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സാബ്രിയുടെ കഥകളിയോടുള്ള അഭിനിവേശത്തിന് പ്രചോദനമായത് അവളുടെ പിതാവ് കൊല്ലത്തെ പരിസ്ഥിതി ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറായ നിസാം അമ്മാസാണ്. ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറായ നിസ്സാം അവരുടെ വീടിനടുത്തുള്ള അഗസ്ത്യകോട് ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കഥകളി പ്രകടനങ്ങളുടെ ഫോട്ടോകൾ സ്ഥിരമായി പകർത്തുമായിരുന്നു. സാബ്രി, ആറാം വയസ്സ് മുതൽ തൻ്റെ പിതാവിനെ അനുഗമിക്കാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു, കഥകളിയുടെ ചടുലമായ വേഷവിധാനങ്ങളിലും വിപുലമായ മേക്കപ്പിലും സ്വയം ആകർഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഈ ആദ്യകാല എക്സ്പോഷർ അവളുടെ ഇളം മനസ്സിൽ മായാത്ത മുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ചു.[1]

സ്കൂൾ എട്ടാം തരമായപ്പോൾ സാബ്രിക്ക് കഥകളിയോടുള്ള ഇഷ്ടം പൂവണിഞ്ഞു. ഇടമുളയ്ക്കൽ ഗവൺമെൻ്റ് ജവഹർ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് ഏഴാം ക്ലാസ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം കലാമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ ചേരാൻ അവളും കുടുംബവും തീരുമാനിച്ചു. വേലിക്കെട്ടുകൾ തകർത്ത് ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ഇടംനേടിയ സാബ്രി കലാമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായി മുസ്ലീം സമുദായത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കഥകളി പഠിക്കുന്ന പെൺകുട്ടിയായി. കലാമണ്ഡലത്തിൽ ചേരുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് സാബ്രി മോഹിനിയാട്ടവും കഥകളിയും പഠിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. ചടയമംഗലത്ത് നിന്ന് ആരോമലിൻ്റെ ശിക്ഷണത്തിൽ കഥകളി പഠനത്തിന് തുടക്കമിട്ടു എന്നിരുന്നാലും,

ചരിത്രപരമായി, കലാമണ്ഡലത്തിലെ കഥകളി പരിശീലനം ആൺകുട്ടികൾക്ക് മാത്രമായിരുന്നു, കഠിനമായ അർപ്പണബോധവും പരിശീലനവും ആവശ്യമാണ്. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷമാണ് സ്ഥാപനം പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്കായി വാതിൽ തുറന്നത്. രണ്ടാം ബാച്ചിലെ പ്രവേശനത്തിൽ സാബ്രി ഉൾപ്പെടെ എട്ട് പെൺകുട്ടികൾ തെക്കൻ, വടക്കൻ ശൈലിയിലുള്ള കഥകളി പരിശീലനത്തിൽ തുടക്കമിട്ടു. അവരുടെ ദിനചര്യയിൽ പുലർച്ചെ 4:30 മുതൽ 9:30 വരെ കഥകളി പരിശീലനവും തുടർന്ന് പതിവ് അക്കാദമിക് ക്ലാസുകളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. വൈകുന്നേരങ്ങളിൽ കൂത്തമ്പലത്തിൽ തത്സമയം കഥകളി അവതരിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള അവസരമുണ്ട്.

പിതാവ് നിസാം, അമ്മ അനീഷ, സഹോദരൻ യാസീൻ എനിവർ പിന്തുണയും, കാരണം അവരുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലമോ വിശ്വാസമോ പരിഗണിക്കാതെ കൂടുതൽ പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്ക് കഥകളിയുടെ സമ്പന്നമായ സാംസ്കാരിക പൈതൃകം ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ അവൾ വഴിയൊരുക്കുന്നു.
