English: Close-up shot of the skulls in "The House of Skulls" at the Monsopiad Cultural Village in Penampang (near Kota Kinabalu), Sabah, Malaysia. The village is named after the Kadazan head-hunter warrior Monsopiad. The Village is run by his direct descendants (they claim), and the human skulls on display, hanging from the central beam of the ceiling of the house, are said to be the actual ones of his victims. The skulls are adorned with dried palm tree leaves.
