Summary
| Description |
English: STEP-NC machining on an Okuma CNC at IMTS 2014. The base machining process for the illustrated mold part was created by Boeing and then sent to Sandvik and ISCAR for optimization. The result was a STEP-NC description containing all three process options. The operator machined three different parts (shown fixtured in the machine) by selecting between the alternatives. All machining was done in titanium. |
