Summary

Description
English: SS Tysilio & Mary, Meifod Standing in its nine acre churchyard the original church of St Mary is said to have been built by Madoc ap Meredydd in 1154. The oldest relic in the church is a carved stone coffin decorated with Norse knots and animals, thought to be a memorial to a Prince of Powys of the 11th or 12th century.
