DescriptionSS Explorer, Leith Docks - geograph.org.uk - 968725.jpg
English: SS Explorer, Leith Docks I believe I've got the position about right by using the satellite to line up the two blocks of flats, the building with the square tower and flags and the quayside. The three cranes to the left can also be identified from their shadows and the tanks to the right are also identifiable. This took well over 30 minutes.
The vessel is a steam powered fisheries research ship and a small group is struggling to save her for posterity.
