Summary

Description
English: Title: LUBECK (German light cruiser, 1904-1923) Caption: Photographed early in her career. This ship was completed on 26 April 1905; the photograph was received by the U.S. Navy Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) on 7 May 1908. The two black funnel bands on the two forward funnels were added after the photo was made, apparently to reflect a later (then current) appearance.
